Field Notes
This is where the noise gets turned into stories. Field Notes is my writing from the edges of travel and decision making. Moments that didn’t make sense while they were happening, but refused to fade afterwards. Solo miles, strange encounters, bad calls, good instincts, and the kind of clarity that only shows up when things get uncomfortable.
Photos
These aren’t just photos. They’re moments stolen from adventures. From remote mountain passes and stormy coastlines to forgotten towns, dusty tracks, and wild light, every image comes from real moments out in the world. No staged scenes, no over edited fantasy, and no waiting in line with tourists for the same shot. Photography for me is about capturing the feeling of a place.
Track Tested
This is where the romance gets kicked in the ribs and tested properly. Track Tested is gear under real pressure, not showroom lighting. If I strap it, wear it, or rely on it out there, it gets judged where it matters: rain, dust, crashes, long days, bad decisions, and worse terrain. No sponsored fluff pretending everything is flawless. If it breaks, I’ll say it.

I’m Irene, a 44-year-old solo female adventurer chasing life far beyond the usual lanes. Through remote travel, wild experiences, storytelling, photography, and plenty of questionable decisions, Lights Camera Adventure is my way of showing that life doesn’t have to follow the script society hands you.
My mission is simple: inspire others to stop waiting for permission and start living the life they dream about. For me, that means getting lost off the beaten path, embracing discomfort, and collecting stories instead of excuses.
